Passionate followers of the actress are urging that a man who jumped a barricade and seized the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be detained or deported from Singapore.

A viral video shows the individual from Australia bypassing photographers and rushing toward Grande while the performers proceeded down a promenade accompanied by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being led away of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers revealed that he was due to appear on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Record of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile contains recordings of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney show in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last winter.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," commented an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over the Star's Safety

Several supporters criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her May 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented another message on Instagram.

Some fans also questioned security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while others demanded social media platforms to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage shared widely, Grande seemed shocked when she was touched by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Many of Singapore supporters had lined up to meet the performers of Wicked

Many of supporters had assembled in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore shopping center, including a number who had queued for as long as many hours before it began.

The film, to be premiered on 21 November, is the second of a two-film version of the well-known Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected bond between two very different sorceresses.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of the previous year in the UK, and received 10 award recognitions, securing a pair for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
